Text Box: NukeMed, Inc. was founded in 2004 with the intention of designing robotic and  tungsten products for Nuclear Medicine applications, with the main focus being safety and shielding.  Our products include Hot Cells, Laminar Flow Hoods, Syringe Shields and Shipping Containers.
NukeMed, Inc. has designed an automated dose compounding machine, The Nuclear Pharm-Assist™, to reduce exposure, dispensing errors and biological contaminants.  We designed our machine without the use of lead products.  Lead is a soft and hazardous neurotoxin which can be easily transferred  to the technician handling the doses or to the patient who is being injected with or ingesting a radiopharmaceutical.  NukeMed, Inc. utilizes Tungsten for the construction of all its shielding applications.  Tungsten is a radiation dense element that can be machined into functional products for use in nuclear medicine.
We can make ALMOST anything out of tungsten!
